Burnout is something we all feel, at some point. It doesn’t matter what you do, you will feel it. How do you get rid of it, then? Especially in business where you don’t always do what you like to do.

How do you get rid of burnout? I got this question on Facebook and it’s interesting because several months ago, I was talking about the exact same thing with one of my mentors and he told me something interesting and I’m going to share it with you.

He told me that you should be careful at things you feel burned out about because you usually feel burned out not when you work a lot, as the common belief is, but you feel burnout when you do unfulfilling things, when you don’t feel compelled to do things and, if most of your work is made out of this kind of things, you’re gonna burnout.

So, what you need to do is look at the things that don’t fulfill you and delegate them. Find better suited people to do them and keep only the things that you really want to do or the things that you really need to do.
