What is the maximum amount of time you can spend building your MVP?

I don’t think there’s a maximum amount of time. I think your focus should be on the least amount of time. It should take as little time as possible. If you’re doing something simple, like a website, it should take you two weeks, the most. If you’re building an online tool, it should take you two months, the most. If you’re building a rocket, it’s going to take probably a year or two. So, your focus shouldn’t be on how much time you can spend, but how little time you can spend, focus on that.

So, when you plan your MVP, after you get to the final version of the MVP, look again, because most of the times you see that there are some features that could be taken out and that will cut the amount of time that you need for the MVP to hit the market. Focus on the least amount of time you can use for MVP to be public.
