I wrote a long article about a stupid guy saying stupid things about someone’s hard work. And I deleted all of it because it’s irrelevant. All I can say is that one Romanian entrepreneur just announced a $1.5 million investment in her startup, Knotch.

Yes, she is a lady entrepreneur and the fun thing is that her co-founder, the CTO of the company, is also a lady, How about that? :)

She said the company’s data could be valuable to advertisers who want to reach people with targeted advertisements, though Knotch doesn’t plan to show ads in its own apps. “We want to become a bit of marketplace for people who want to source sentiment and people who want to give sentiment,” she said.

Congrats, Anda, for a great achievement. I know it’s just the first step, but it’s still a great step to make.

P.S.: and, more on the subject of people “understanding” what you do and giving unsolicited advice, read the comments written 7 years ago by people reading the announcement of Twitter on TechCrunch.
