You go to a meeting, you leave the meeting pumped up to do things, you’ve established some things with the meeting partners and two days later, you remember maybe half of the things that you talked and, most of the time, you remember only the half that interests you.
And the reason you do that is because most of the people that I know, don’t do a follow-up of that meeting via email, so that it’s a written form and you can go back again and again.
So if you do something all the time and you should do it if you change something as a habit, you always need to do a follow-up to a meeting.
I learned that when we started Mavenhut and Cristi, my co-founder, always pressured me to follow-up the meetings with investors, follow-up the meetings with the team, follow-up everything. And it really helps, so follow up!
