Is it possible to have a work-life balance as an entrepreneur at the early stage of your startup?
The answer: NO! And an emphatic NO at that.
I really don’t think that if you want, if you really want, to start a business, if you’re consummate about what you want to start, you’ll be able to have a good work-life balance.
I’ve never heard of it.
All my friends that are involved in startups (at least in their first ever startups), they all have problems in their personal lives. Because they’re so focused on what they build they don’t really get to have a personal life.
This thing changes after a while, it changes after three, four, five, six years in the startup, but in the early stage, all you think about is your startup.
The way I see it, if you really have a work-life balance, you might not be as focused or as interested in your startup as you might want or you might think you are.
